2025 has been a pivotal year for HoneyHill, filled with growth and increased community ties. As we evolve and adapt, we are pleased to share key highlights that reflect our dedication to the elder community. From welcoming new team members to engaging with local events, our focus on service remains strong.

Welcoming a New Team Member: Joe Durst

We are excited to introduce Joe Durst as our new Business Development Specialist. Joe comes to us with over 10 years of experience in community outreach and has quickly begun making an impact. This month, he organized several bingo games and participated in ice cream social events at assisted livings and senior centers in our area. These gatherings not only provide entertainment but also help foster meaningful connections between our agency and the senior community.

Joe’s initiatives aim to strengthen our relationships with elder service providers, ensuring we are attuned to the needs of those we serve. Creating such welcoming environments is crucial for enhancing the quality of care we offer. He is also making his rounds around Rutherford County to ensure HoneyHill HomeCare is the name people associate with quality home care services.

Celebrating Community Engagement: Spaghetti Dinner for the Senior Activity Center

ree

HoneyHill recently participated in a delightful spaghetti dinner aimed at benefiting the Senior Activity Center of Smyrna. This event was not only a treat for the taste buds but also an opportunity to connect with fellow community supporters. A silent auction, appetizers, live auction, magic show, and great food... what more could you ask for?

Stephen Bargatze, magician and comedian Nate Bargatze's father, performed and had everyone in tears laughing. It was such a treat to see him perform along with honoring Ken & Shirley Cobble who won the 2025 Patsy Brown Award. It was uplifting to witness the local community come together for such an important place that offers so much to the Smyrna senior population. Events like this emphasize the impact of collaboration and support in making a difference in our seniors' lives.
