Walk to End Alzheimer's 2018

The Rutherford County - Walk to End Alzheimer's 2018 was a very special event for us to attend. We enjoyed getting to see some of our clients, who we now consider family. The ceremony before the walk is always so touching. And, best of all, there was still a large turnout even with the freezing weather we were experiencing that Saturday morning.

One of our youngest Team HoneyHill HomeCare supporters was there and she had a blast collecting candy and goodies from all the wonderful healthcare providers and other businesses that had set up booths for attendees to stop by and become aware of the resources we have in this community to benefit those living with Alzheimer's or other forms of Dementia and their families.

As you know, HoneyHill HomeCare also serves as a resource to those living with Alzheimer's and Dementia. A high percentage of the wonderful people that we serve every day are affected by Alzheimer's and other forms of Dementia. Unfortunately, we are very familiar with all that comes with a Dementia diagnosis and how it affects the entire family.

We highly recommend people coming to this event each year to show your support for those living with Alzheimer's and Dementia and those who we have already lost. It's a very sad thing to watch people forget the lives they built and the people they love. I want to be a part of a world that works toward finding a cure for such a devastating disease! You should too!

If you have a loved one who could benefit from home care services, or you just have some questions about what your options are in terms of senior care, then please give us a call at any time at (629) 201-6130.
