Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month

November is Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month! If you have a loved one with Alzheimer's or Dementia, then you understand firsthand the difficulties that come with these diseases. Every day is the "longest day". Diseases of the brain affect the person who received the heartbreaking diagnosis (whatever it may be) and every family member, caregiver, and loved one is along for the journey.

So, during this month, let's recognize the severity of what people living with Alzheimer's or Dementia are going through. Let us all love them a little harder, show the family and caretakers of these wonderful people how much we appreciate them, and let us bind together as a community to show them we are in this together.

We hope as many people as possible within the Rutherford County community get invested in spreading awareness of this disease and fundraising for the cause. You can do this by joining our team Saturday, November 11th at the Walk to End Alzheimer's. The money raised goes towards research, treatments, and the hopes in finding a cure in the near future! We hope to see you there!
